I started riding when I was 16 years old and thru the years had various Honda’s, Dirt bikes and an ATV. I took over 20 years off and then purchased my first Harley. At that time I took the Pennsylvania Riders Safety courses to re-acclimate myself to riding and riding safely. I joined the LV HOG’s in 2012 and shortly thereafter served as the clubs Activity officer for 3 years and 2 years as the Head Road Captain. I am looking forward to my next adventure as the Director/Treasurer. I am married with one daughter and 3 fantastic grandkids. I am currently employed as the director of Sales and Service for a small company and previously spent 30+ years in International Marketing.

I started riding at a young age, mini-bikes, dirt bikes, and many street bikes. Then I got my first Harley in 1985 a 1971 sportster 900 project bike. It came with just frame and engine. I found a service manual and by late 1987 I was riding it. In 2001 I had a son, Michael Jr. At that time, I was working full time for Kline’s Auto and was helping a local farmer, and that took up most of my time. Then was divorced and moved back into Whitehall. In 2012 I bought a 2003 Road King, and that is when I joined National HOG. Then in 2016 I bought my current bike a 2016 Road Glide Ultra and joined LV HOG chapter. Also in 2016 I got remarried to my Wife and passenger Maryanne. We have 3 grandchildren, Riley, Quinn and Owen. I enjoy being a member of LV HOG where I made many friends and rode many miles with. And now I look forward to many more on this adventure.

I bought my first motorcycle in 1984 and rode it a couple of years. I didn’t own or ride a motorcycle again until 2010 when I bought a 2007 XL1200C. Soon after that I joined the Lehigh Valley HOG Chapter. Since joining LV HOG I’ve held several officer positions including Director, Assistant Director, and Membership Officer. I am now looking forward to serving the chapter in my new role as Head Road Captain

I have been married for over 30 years and have 3 daughters. I recently have been blessed with 3 grandsons.

I served four years active duty in the U.S. Army serving in South Korea in the Second Infantry Division, and also stateside in the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell Kentucky. I also served six years in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard 211th Engineering Installation Squadron at Fort Indiantown Gap. I’m recently retired after 36 years of employment at Air Products.

I joined the Lehigh Valley HOG chapter in 2002. I started out riding Hondas for a few years and then purchased my first Harley – Sportster 883, then a Sportster 1200. I currently ride a custom Harley Ultra Classic Trike and love it. I was the “Official” Photographer for the club and continue to serve as Webmaster. I have enjoyed riding and the good times with fellow riders.

I have two wonderful daughters and two fantastic grandsons!!

Paulette Helman
Ladies of Harley [[email protected]]

I started riding in 2017 after my youngest son Paul went to college. In 1993, I married my husband Ron Helman. Before my oldest son Ronnie was born, my husband and I enjoyed our ATVs and Ron’s various types of bikes. Once the kids were born, we decided it was best to sell the toys and switch to something more practical like a mini van and a topless Jeep. Ron started riding again when he bought his road king in 2016 and it reignited my spark to ride. I started out with a Yamaha 650. Six months later, I found the new love of my life in my 2016 Heritage that just so happened to match Ron’s. We joined the LV Hog chapter in 2021 and have made some amazing friends and really enjoyed riding with the LV Hogs. I am excited to continue this next chapter as being the Ladies of Harley Officer. I truly know we have a great year ahead of us!

I’m a Critical Care Nurse at LVHM and have worked for the network since 2000. We have 3 amazing sons, Ronnie, Ben and Paul who all serve the United States Air Force.

In 2013 I joined LVHOG, since then most of my time has been as an officer! In 2021 my husband and I were in a terrible motorcycle accident. Our HOG group has been an extension of our family. Life friends!

As activities officer, I want to concentrate on getting our group together for fun things in and around the area, not so much on the bikes – we have other officers for that. I’m looking forward to your suggestions.

I’ve been riding since I was a kid. First with my father, he taught me to ride dirt bikes, later 4wheelers, snowmobiles. As I got older rode on back of friends’ bikes, also drove a boyfriend’s Harley Low Rider. I was hooked even more thus became a National HOG Lifetime Member in 1995. Then finally in 2000, I got my first bike a Honda Rebel, looked like a mini-low rider. In 2005, move to TX but no motorcycle again while there, did ride a friend’s a few times. In 2018, moved back home to PA, still no bike. With my hip replacement surgery in 2022 I thought I’d never ride again. But after seeing some trikes in a mass group my epiphany hit, maybe I could still enjoy a lifelong love. Once all the projects on my house were complete my “project fund” became my “fun fund” and my dream bike was purchased a 2023 Harley Road Glide 3 Trike.

I joined LVHOG and been able to enjoy my passion along with gaining fabulous new friends. I look forward to many more adventures both on and off the bikes. Life is too short not to live, laugh, and love!

I grew up in Pen Argyl and learned to ride at Marsh’s Yamaha on minibikes behind the dealership. I graduated from ESU with a BS in science, from George Washington University with an MS in Technology, and decided to get a second master’s online at Western Governors University in IT Management.

I have a blended family of two daughters, three sons, and five grandchildren spread across the country. I love my country, I smoke cigars, drink bourbon, and ride a 2005 Anniversary Fatboy.

I have recently retired, and I like doing the newsletter for LVHOG. I am also the Steward for Manoquesy Lodge #413 in Bath.

As always, keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down.
